Services

PROPWR understands that power service is not a one-size-fits-all.

Our flexibility and interest in aligning the power with your operation’s needs

Agility and alignment in contracting strategy is critical for partners depending on organization complexity, accounting practices and interest in maintaining generation flexibility. Scoping of emissions and ownership of air permitting compliance also requires different ways to manage the commercials which may differ from service to service. Rest assured, our flexibility and interest to align the power with your operations needs, highlights the commercial creativity PROPWR offers to partners.

Powering The Permian

PROPWR extends to counties such as Lea, Andrews Borden, Crane, Dawson, Ector, Gaines, Glasscock, Howard, Loving, Martin, Midland, Pecos, Reeves, Terrell, Upton, Ward, and Winkler. These areas encompass significant sub-basins, including the Delaware and Midland Basins, as well as notable formations like the Wolfcamp and Spraberry. By operating in these regions, PROPWR is strategically positioned to support operations across key regions, ensuring reliable, efficient power where it’s needed most.

Contracting Strategies

\

Power As A Service (PAAS)

Unrestricted capacity for customers who have variable loads, unclear on expected usage and prefer a simple budgeting solution to manage monthly service rates. This contract power generation strategy allows a fixed monthly rate with no variability on a month-to-month basis. This service may also be referred to as Contract Power Generation.

\

Energy As A Service (EAAS)

Service model aligned with the work product generated from the energy served (i.e. $/Pump-Hour for eFrac applications). This contract structure can offer flexibility for temporary mobile or long-term semi-permanent installations where power demand or work product on schedule may be a variable (Zipper Frac vs Simulfrac) requiring equipment adjustments. However, work product produced by electricity is an easier accounting method on a project’s AFE (such as stage count with well treatment design).

\

Power Purchase Agreements (PPA)

Comparable rate structure to utility ($/kWh or $/MWh), usage based at an agreed upon capacity, installed at customer site.

\

Power Capacity Agreements (PCA)

Rate structure providing a fixed amount of capacity for deployment into various applications. Providing maximum flexibility on long-term contract basis to ensure assets under contract have flexibility to move from temporary mobile applications into more long-term semi-permanent applications under a larger umbrella agreement.

\

Custom Power Contracting

Taking a blank sheet of paper, evaluating your needs and developing a contract power generation strategy that fits your business.
